We Write the Code That Moves Things Forward
A distributed team of engineers helping companies build things that work, scale, and last.
About us
PerformaCode develops and maintains software across embedded systems, backend services, user-facing applications, and applied AI components.
Delivery is distributed between Costa Rica and Lithuania for organizations across North America and Europe, primarily within existing production systems — inherited codebases, evolving specifications, mixed hardware revisions, and uptime requirements rather than greenfield builds.
Typical contributions include firmware porting, system refactoring, integration, performance tuning, interface implementation, and long-term maintenance.
We develop and test software running in medical devices, consumer electronics, semiconductor equipment, industrial control systems, logistics platforms, and connected equipment.

Meet us at
DMEA 2026 – Berlin, Germany
📅 April 21-22, 2026
📍 Berlin Exhibition Grounds ExpoCenter City
We’re heading to DMEA 2026 to explore advances in digital health platforms, connected medical devices, and secure clinical infrastructure.
With experience in firmware, safety-critical systems, and compliance-driven integration, we approach healthcare technology from a system-level engineering perspective.
Planning to attend? Let’s connect.
HANNOVER MESSE 2026 — Hannover, Germany
📅 April 20–24, 2026
📍Exhibition Grounds Hannover
We’ll be at HANNOVER MESSE 2026 looking past the high-level automation language and into the engineering underneath it. Our focus is the junction of equipment, control software, connectivity, and platform logic that has to survive real production conditions and long lifecycle expectations. If you’re attending and want to talk through practical system work, let’s meet.
Sensors Converge 2026 — Santa Clara, CA
📅 May 5–7, 2026
📍Santa Clara Convention Center
Sensors Converge 2026 is on our list for a simple reason: sensing only gets interesting once it has to work inside a real product. We’ll be paying attention to sensor integration, embedded processing, power constraints, and the gap between a promising signal path and something you can actually ship and support. If you’ll be in Santa Clara, reach out.
DeviceTalks Boston 2026 — Boston, MA
📅 May 27–28, 2026
📍Boston Convention and Exhibition Center
At DeviceTalks Boston 2026, we want to stay close to the engineering reality behind medtech delivery: software structure, connected subsystems, verification burden, and the tradeoffs that show up when products have to change without becoming unstable. That is usually where the real work lives. If you’re attending, let’s connect.
WHX Miami 2026 — Miami Beach, FL
📅 June 17–19, 2026
📍Miami Beach Convention Center
WHX Miami 2026 is where we’ll be watching how healthcare technology is being assembled into working systems, not just marketed as categories. We’re particularly interested in digital platforms and connected medical products that depend on careful integration, operational reliability, and compliance-aware engineering. Planning to be there? Let’s talk.

Got Questions?
How big is your team?
We’re a globally distributed team of 200+ people, with staff in the US, Europe, Central America, and Canada. English is our working language, and we’re used to collaborating across time zones with clear, async-friendly communication.
What’s the story behind PerformaCode?
We spun out of a larger engineering group in 2024 to focus on embedded, enterprise, and AI projects—keeping the senior talent but dropping big‑company overhead.
Do you follow agile practices?
Yes. Most of our projects use agile or hybrid models. We have 10+ certified Scrum Masters and can work within your process or help set one up if needed.
Can we start with just one or two developers?
Yes. You don’t need a full team to begin. Many of our clients start small and scale once things take shape.
What if we don’t have a full spec or scope yet?
That’s fine. We can work with early-stage ideas, help define requirements, and validate technical direction before writing a single line of code.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We typically work under non-disclosure agreements and take confidentiality seriously from day one.
How do you ensure code quality?
All code is peer-reviewed and tested. We follow clean coding practices, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and define “done” as something that’s ready to ship—not just working locally.
Will we own the IP?
Yes. All intellectual‑property rights transfer to you as soon as invoices are paid, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
